Samual Bon, Chairperson of the Board

Samuel Bon was made Chairperson of Edulution in May 2021.

In April 2024, he was appointed Group CEO of the Ernst Göhner Foundation in Zug, Switzerland, which has both an entrepreneurial and philanthropic character and also pursues the purposes of a family foundation. The foundation's assets consist of investments in companies, real estate and financial assets.
 

In 2021, Samuel founded his own consulting company, join-international, advising corporations and foundations in strategy execution, corporate governance and organisational development. 

From 2011 to 2021, Samuel has been CEO and Executive Director of Swisscontact, a leading operating foundation based in Zürich, implementing large public and private development mandates in over 40 countries, also supporting companies in making their supply-chains more transparent, compliant, and sustainable. 

Previously, Samuel held senior executive positions at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), serving as Managing Director for South-East Asia & Pacific and Emergency Response and Crisis Management Advisor to the Board. He worked as a Delegate in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Congo, Kenya, Sudan, East Timor and Burma/Myanmar. 

Samuel has an Executive MBA, International Institute for Management Development (IMD), M.A. in Theology & Social Ethics, University of Zürich, and B.A. from the University of Bern.
