After a rigorous process, Edulution was selected by Injini for the 2025 Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship!

Injini is a specialised EdTech accelerator that works with African EdTech organisations to provide collaborative solutions to Africa’s education systems’ challenges. They support innovative solutions to improve education outcomes and promote education equality. The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship is not just an investment in technology, but in the future of learning, teaching, and the broader community of South Africa.
Krista Davidson, the Executive Director of Injini, describes how impactful EdTech “can democratise education, enabling learners to access meaningful and relevant learning opportunities.”
Edulution is proud to join an incredible cohort of EdTech organisations on the programme to focus on:
Expanding market access to reach learners at the bottom of the education pyramid
Measuring impact effectively to demonstrate our solutions' value and scalability
Strengthening business sustainability, including preparation for investment where appropriate
Edulution's CEO Richard Akwei and Human Capital Development Executive David Alan Fair attended the first meeting last week, and were inspired by the talent, ideas and fellow EdTech innovators in the room. They joined our partners in AI-powered learning, EduTech Institute and Ei Mindspark, for interesting discussions about educational inclusion, and how to prioritise this in EdTech programmes.

We look forward to the Fellowship and the expertise we will gain to continue transforming education in Africa, and expand our impact further.
