Kickstarting the Ei Mindspark learning software partnership!

Edulution is excited to announce its new collaboration with Ei Mindspark! Mindspark is a personalised learning software that allows Learners to progress at their own pace, in sync with the school curriculum. The platform adapts itself to every student’s learning level, enabling them to self-learn concepts gradually and thoroughly.

A lot of organisations believe their solution works, but very few can prove it does. Edulution is 32% more effective than traditional schooling according to multi-year independent evaluations, and Ei Mindspark has been independently evaluated by J-PAL, IDinsight and Gray Matters, with many naming the software as best-of-breed. The combination of Edulution’s data driven coaching and blended learning teacher engagement, with Mindspark’s adaptive software has the potential to magnify learning outcomes even further.

“Ei Mindspark is a game-changer. I’m excited about the learning opportunities it brings for our Learners and the improved monitoring tools for our Coaches across the centres” - Joseph Kumwenda, Field Coordinator

In a typical school class in Sub-Saharan Africa, only half of the students will graduate from Primary School. These drop-out rates compound year on year, with only 9% of the original class graduating from Secondary School. With such impossible odds, many children lose confidence as their friends around them leave school one by one. Edulution gives children hope. We advocate for joyful learning that makes school a safe and happy place where Learners can realise their potential, and move on to Secondary School together, with all their classmates.

Mindspark is currently being piloted in a number of Edulution centres before a wider roll-out in 2025. The implementation of Mindspark will assist in Edulution’s new Blended Learning strategy. Edulution has five outcomes it aspires to with this new strategy:

  1. Mathematics understanding in Primary Schools is increased

  2. Educators are capacitated to be more effective and efficient in their roles

  3. Blended Learning is adopted and owned by schools and government

  4. Blended Learning is included in the national curriculum

  5. Coaches transition into public education (ICT support, Blended Learning facilitators, teachers, etc.)

The Blended Learning model using Ei Mindspark and Edulution’s technology and pedagogy will provide teachers with an evaluation system key to balancing the pace set by the ATP/national curriculum and the pace at which the Learners are able to learn.

The learning iceberg and benefits of Ei Mindspark

“I find Ei MindSpark to be significant, offering enhanced interactive features, streamlined navigation, and diverse content formats that cater to various learning styles, making complex concepts more accessible and fun with games that are in line with the topics.” - Asa Lwanga, Edulution Coach

Based on the insights provided by Ei Mindspark software and the Edulution Coaches’ support, teachers can identify challenges, develop strategies to address these, and plan their lessons accordingly.

“The Ei MindSpark pilot has been fantastic so far. It's been both fun and insightful, especially hearing the Learners' feedback!” - Cletus Mwelwa, Edulution Coach

We are excited about our partnership pilot with Ei Mindspark software, and the prospects of expanding this proven programme across Edulution’s operational centres.
